TEXAS, Monahans State Park

Monahans Sand Hills were a pleasure for the kids. The state park was right in the middle of the desert, so when ever Vini and Senia finished homeschooling they went to the big, hilly sandbox to play.  We went from swimming every day to sand hill sliding every day.

They couldn't get enough.

TEXAS, Balmorhea State Park

We stayed two weeks in Balmorhea State Park, so we can relax and the kids can catch up with their swimming practice. The water is 76 Degrees Fahrenheit year around. Ducks, thousands of fish and people share the swimming pool.

Yessenia ready for snorkeling.

Vini was every day in the pool.

Ducks

As soon you put your feet in the water fish thinks it is food.

Vini holding ice!

They had the irrigation system on when temperature hit below zero.

Ahhh! It is too cold.
